We are the Thomann.io Data Division! We are a colourful group of data analysts, data engineers and measurement specialists. We are focused on expanding our cloud-based data warehouse to create added value in essential business areas like for our website and app, and for marketing, purchasing and logistics.
To support our measurement specialist, who is responsible for configuring tracking our digital properties (web & app), we are looking for an experienced counterpart and sparring partner who can establish data governance practices, elevate our data quality processes and architect tracking infrastructure in collaboration with our shop teams. Own the tracking space, architecture and tooling (mainly Google Tag Manager – client and server-side)
Drive strategic initiatives to improve our data governance practices for Digital Analytics and Marketing Tracking
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand the measurement coverage of our digital properties, maintaining relationships and establishing healthy feedback cycles with our product teams
Establish standards and assess the progress and quality of tracking integration in a data-inspired way
Configure digital analytics and marketing tracking in collaboration with our measurement specialists and digital analysts
Facilitate activities to increase the level of literacy and autonomy for our stakeholders in relation to digital analytics, event tracking and integration
At least 5 years of experience in tracking implementation (marketing tracking and digital analytics)
Able to read and discuss code (PHP, JavaScript / TypeScript) to advance your initiatives
Hands on development experience (e.g. contribution to open source or private projects) is a plus
No stranger to event tracking designs and schema management
Know the differences between frontend and backend tracking, client and server-side implementations
Cross-site and cross-domain tracking are not foreign terms for you
Experienced in agile working methods and proficient in stakeholder and project management within your area
Strong written and verbal English (C1+ level) communication skills. German skills would be a plus
Flexible working hours and location, with the option to go into the office (fully-remote possible)
