We are the Thomann.io Data Team! We are a colourful group of data analysts, data engineers and measurement specialists. We are focused on expanding our cloud-based data warehouse to create added value in essential business areas like for our website and app, and for marketing, purchasing and logistics.
Join our team of digital analysts, marketing analysts and tracking specialists. We are responsible for the measurement strategy, tracking implementation and analysis of our digital properties (web & app) and marketing initiatives. As a Senior Product Analyst – Experimentation (f/m/d) you will take our experimentation program to the next level, establish lean processes, and revise our tooling. Come work with us from Berlin, or remotely within Germany!
Collection, analysis, interpretation and visualisation of data from digital products (website/app) and marketing channels (CRM, ads, SEO etc.)
Ownership of our tooling landscape (GA4, GTM, A/B-Testing) and processes (requirements gathering, tracking Q&A)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement measurement strategies and KPI frameworks around our shop features and initiatives
Hold workshops on product analytics with product teams to increase their literacy and enable them to work independently with your tools for doing basic analyses
Balance a reactive service mode (pull) with proactive explorations and the promotion of insights and recommendations (push)
At least 5 years of experience in product analytics and associated tools, ideally an event-based solution like Google Analytics 4 as well as A/B-testing tooling for web & app
You know what it takes to run hypothesis-driven experiments at scale and don’t shy away from calling out biased tests
Establishing processes and cross-functional alignment for experimentation as well standards around analysis excites you
You are familiar with raw data structures and writing SQL is a piece of cake for you
A familiarity with the collection, structure and availability of digital data in marketing platforms (Facebook, TikTok etc.) is a plus
You know the differences between frontend and backend tracking, and client and server-side implementations.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive employer that creates a welcoming atmosphere, and value diversity in our teams. We do not make judgements based on ethnicity, nationality, age, marital status, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, or religion.
The first interview with one of our people & culture managers helps both of us to see if our ideas and values match.
You'll get to know a part of our team and get a chance to score with technical knowledge. In addition, you can ask anything you want to know.
You'll receive a task that would fit your new role. You'll be asked to prepare the task either at home or live with some of our team members. Afterwards, there will be a debriefing with team members from your future department.
Last, you'll get to know some team members of our leadership community. If this is a fit, too, you'll receive an offer from us.
Work from home or any of our offices. Our team is 100% remote and will stay this way. You need a stable internet connection and your laptop. Currently our way of work supports the EU.
Our Thomann headquarters. Just a few minutes’ drive outside of Bamberg. Come by to visit our shop or meet with colleagues outside of tech & data.
Our thomann.io office in the heart of Berlin. Easily reachable at Rosenthaler Platz. Perfect for workshops and team building.
Our thomann.io office in Nuremberg's metropolitan area. Just a few minutes by foot from Erlangen station. Nice, quiet location to do some deep work.
