Hey, we are the People and Culture Unit at Recruiting, onboarding, feedback culture or coffee call - we are your go-to people. And we’re looking for a new Working student (f/m/d) Recruiting and Active Sourcing to work in our offices in Berlin, Erlangen or remotely (CET +/-2h).

Who we are

  • Meet Anne (Recruiter): Anne lives near Berlin with her daughter, dog and partner. She comes from the event industry. Since she has a great desire to support people in the company, she became a recruiter. Even though she would have liked to become a diving instructor on Lanzarote. 🐙
  • Meet the lead: Anni is our P&C Lead until the end of the year. From January she will go on a trip around the world. Therefore we are looking for someone new. Please let us know if you know someone 😉

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Recruiting 🦊
    • From day one you take responsibility for your own positions, like Web Developer, PO, Agile Coach etc.
    • You make first pitching calls and inspire candidates for us.
    • You have an eye for our recruiting process and try to create new ways to constantly optimize it.
  • Active Sourcing 🤓
    • You are our text expert for active sourcing messages and inspire suitable talents of
    • You regularly contact suitable candidates on LinkedIn or and you always keep an eye on their status so that nothing slips through.

Contribute your ideas and make sure that everything fits authentically.

Skills you should have

  • Enrolled student and tech enthusiastic
  • First experience in Active Sourcing or recruiting
  • Strong communication skills, creativity and a desire to familiarize yourself with new topics such as data, design and agile web development.
  • Understand and identify the Thomann brand 🎼
  • Basic technical understanding in the field of software development would be desirable
  • Openness to new things and a feel for trends in human resources
  • Very good written and spoken German and English

Our application process

1. Getting to know you

30 minutes

The first interview with one of our recruiters helps both of us to see if our ideas and values match.

2. Technical interview

60 minutes
you & specialists

You'll get to know a part of our team and get a chance to score with technical knowledge. In addition, you can ask anything you want to know.

3. Tryout task & debriefing

60 minutes
you & specialists

You'll receive a task that would fit your new role. You'll be asked to prepare the task either at home or live with some of our team members. Afterwards, there will be a debriefing with team members from your future department.

4. Leadership interview

60 minutes

Last, you'll get to know some team members of our leadership community. If this is a fit, too, you'll receive an offer from us.

We might adjust the process for some positions. This means you might get to know some more team members or get a more detailed chance to see your new role in action.

Our offices

Remote. Distributed. Together.

Work from home or any of our offices. Our team is 100% remote and will stay this way. You need a stable internet connection and your laptop. Currently our way of work supports the central European timezone +/-2h.


Our Thomann headquarters. Just a few minutes’ drive outside of Bamberg. Come by to visit our shop or meet with colleagues outside of tech & data.


Our office in the heart of Berlin. Easily reachable at Rosenthaler Platz. Perfect for workshops and team building.


Our office in Nuremberg's metropolitan area. Just a few minutes by foot from Erlangen station. Nice, quiet location to do some deep work.
