We are the Thomann.io Data Unit! We are a group of experts from the field of Data Analytics/-Science, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Digital Analytics and Measurement with the mission of expanding our cloud-based data warehouse in order to create added-value in almost all essential business areas, such as our website and app, marketing, purchasing and logistics.
We are currently looking for a talented (Senior) Marketing Intelligence Analyst (f/m/d), embedded into our Data Analytics and -Science unit, to support the team in the area of marketing. The working location can be either in Berlin or Erlangen, or remotely within Germany.
An Empowerment Assistance: Helping people to help themselve. Building dashboards and analysis based on various (marketing) data sources (raw and aggregated), to help other people make the right decisions.
An Automation Lover - When it comes to work, you are not a fan of groundhog day: You identify recurring analyses (e.g. sales/campaign comparisons) and automate them instead of repeating them again and again.
A Docophile - Documentation is your best friend: Creating and maintaining documentation for various aspects of the marketing and data operations, ensuring that key information is well-documented and easily accessible.
A Visualizerian - Sometimes the easiest things are hard to understand when they are not made visible in a good way: You are visualising the flow and key aspects of the marketing funnel and user web/app behaviours.
A Data Deepl: You will be translating business requirements into data components. Also you will be the interface between the data unit and the marketing department
A Marketing Guru - You know new marketing intelligence trends before everyone else does? Perfect!: Improving the current processes of addressing different marketing topics from a data perspective is a very important part of your role.
A Doughlocator: Gaining insights that will determine most strategic resources and budget allocation for marketing campaigns.
A SQL Ninja: Writing SQL will be an important part of your role. That’s something you are afraid of. You only use it to warm up the fingers on a cold Morning.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Marketing Intelligence
Minimum of 2 years of experience in ecommerce
You are fluent in German (C1)
Strong understanding and knowledge of digital marketing and its operational tools (paid, organic, mail etc.)
Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing concepts
Experience in the area of data architecture: Creating data marts from raw data
Very good knowledge of SQL
You already worked with typical marketing data sources such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ad Manager etc.
Flexible working hours and location, with the option to go into the office (fully-remote possible)
13th salary in November
Further training opportunities with clear development paths for your career

Personal work equipment according to your wishes and regarding your role
