We are the Tech & Data Team. We are a colorful mix of developers, system administrators, designers, product owners, agile coaches, data engineers and many more. Whether from our offices in Erlangen and Berlin or remotely (CET +/-2h) : We work every day to provide a unique and inspiring e-commerce experience for our Thomann customers worldwide.

We are looking for a Digital Analyst/Tracking Analyst (f/m/d) to work at our offices in Treppendorf, Erlangen, Berlin or remotely (CET +/-2h).

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Be the master of our data tools and know how they work technically, what data they collect and what their purpose is within our data stack.
  • Assist and/or implement major data (tracking) tools in coordination with other departments such as (data) engineering, marketing, product owners and data analysts or external partners.
  • Define global cross-tool data conventions and standards, ensuring their output quality and document are state of the art.
  • Independently push our data literacy, governance and privacy to the next level while increasing alignment and transparency with our stakeholders.
  • Be an important part of a dynamically growing environment and also contribute to the development of the company growth through your experience.
  • Develop new ideas and solutions for our business and continuously optimize existing tools.

Skills you should have

  • Professional experience in implementing tracking solutions for both websites and apps.
  • Ability to support developers in converting business requirements into technical/data concepts.
  • Analytical mindset and a strong passion for a data-driven approach to solving problems.
  • In-depth knowledge of client-side and server-side tracking with tag management TMS solutions.
  • Good knowledge of SQL and front-end languages such as, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication skills to clarify and explain complex setups to a variety of non-technical contacts.
  • Enjoy working in cross-functional teams and contributing with technical expertise.
  • Enthusiastic about e-commerce
  • Good written and spoken English skills

1. Getting to know you

2. Technical interview

You'll get to know a part of our team and get a chance to score with technical knowledge. In addition, you can ask anything you want to know.

3. Tryout task & debriefing

You'll receive a task that would fit your new role. You'll be asked to prepare the task either at home or live with some of our team members. Afterwards, there will be a debriefing with team members from your future department.

4. Leadership interview

60 minutes

Last, you'll get to know some team members of our leadership community. If this is a fit, too, you'll receive an offer from us.

We might adjust the process for some positions. This means you might get to know some more team members or get a more detailed chance to see your new role in action.

Our offices

Remote. Distributed. Together.

Work from home or any of our offices. Our team is 100% remote and will stay this way. You need a stable internet connection and your laptop. Currently our way of work supports the central European timezone +/-2h.

Treppendorf

Our Thomann headquarters. Just a few minutes’ drive outside of Bamberg. Come by to visit our shop or meet with colleagues outside of tech & data.

Berlin

Our thomann.io office in the heart of Berlin. Easily reachable at Rosenthaler Platz. Perfect for workshops and team building.

Erlangen

Our thomann.io office in Nuremberg's metropolitan area. Just a few minutes by foot from Erlangen station. Nice, quiet location to do some deep work.
