We are the Thomann.io Data Team! We are a colourful group of data analysts, data engineers and measurement specialists. We are focused on expanding our cloud-based data warehouse to create added value in essential business areas like for our website and app, and for marketing, purchasing and logistics.
To support our measurement specialists, who are responsible for tracking our digital properties (web & app), we are looking for an experienced counterpart who can mould this captured data into meaningful reports and analyses. So, apply now, and join our team as a (Senior) Digital Analyst (f/m/x), based in Berlin, or remotely within Germany!
Collection, analysis, interpretation and visualisation of data from digital products (website/app) and marketing channels (CRM, ads, SEO etc.)
Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights on website traffic, user behaviour and other key performance indicators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data-based strategies that improve the online customer experience and increase conversion rates.
Work closely with our tracking specialists to translate the tracking requirements of your (business) stakeholders into their languages.
Hold workshops on digital analytics with product teams to increase their literacy and enable them to work independently with your tools for doing basic analyses.
At least 5 years of experience in digital analytics and associated tools, ideally Google Analytics (Universal + 4) and Firebase.
Besides working in digital analytics tools, you are familiar with raw data structures and writing SQL is a piece of cake for you.
A familiarity with the collection, structure and availability of digital data in marketing platforms (Facebook, TikTok etc.)
You know the differences between frontend and backend tracking, and client and server-side implementations.
Cross-site and cross-domain tracking are not foreign terms for you
A good understanding of tag management systems like GTM would be a benefit.
You know exactly when it makes sense to measure things and when it doesn't.
You are experienced in agile working methods and are proficient in stakeholder management within your area.
Strong written and verbal English (C1+ level) communication skills. German skills would be a plus.
Flexible working hours and location (fully remote possible)
13th salary in November
Further training opportunities with clear development paths for your career
Thomann discount for employees
Personal work equipment according to your wishes
Regular team & personal meetings, e.g. Open Space or at conferences
English or German course and external coaching
Urban Sports Club discount
The first interview with one of our recruiters helps both of us to see if our ideas and values match.
You'll get to know a part of our team and get a chance to score with technical knowledge. In addition, you can ask anything you want to know.
You'll receive a task that would fit your new role. You'll be asked to prepare the task either at home or live with some of our team members. Afterwards, there will be a debriefing with team members from your future department.
Last, you'll get to know some team members of our leadership community. If this is a fit, too, you'll receive an offer from us.
Work from home or any of our offices. Our team is 100% remote and will stay this way. You need a stable internet connection and your laptop. Currently our way of work supports the central European timezone +/-2h.
Our Thomann headquarters. Just a few minutes’ drive outside of Bamberg. Come by to visit our shop or meet with colleagues outside of tech & data.
Our thomann.io office in the heart of Berlin. Easily reachable at Rosenthaler Platz. Perfect for workshops and team building.
Our thomann.io office in Nuremberg's metropolitan area. Just a few minutes by foot from Erlangen station. Nice, quiet location to do some deep work.
