We are the Tech & Data Team. A diverse mix of developers, system administrators, designers, product owners, agile coaches, data engineers and
many more. Whether from our offices in Erlangen and Berlin or remotely (CET +/-2h): We work every day to provide a unique and inspiring e-commerce experience for our Thomann customers worldwide.
To make this even better, we are looking for an IT-Admin(f/m/d). You support our teams in hardware administration and are responsible for the infrastructure (WLAN, Internet, security) in the offices.

Here’s what you’ll do

  • Supporting our team with all questions regarding client software, hardware, connectivity and security.
  • Managing the complete purchase, issue and return of our client and office hardware.
  • Taking care of identity management, everything around accounts, MFA, SSO.
  • Responsible for device management: updates, patches, wiping in case of loss.
  • Implementing endpoint security, e.g. virus scanners is your responsibility.
  • Administration of applications such as Jira, Confluence and Slack are part of your duties.
  • Conducting staff training on the topics of security and data protection.
  • Maintaining and managing a list of standard software recommendations.

Skills you should have

  • Confident with concepts and identity management e.g. user administration, GPOs, Google Workspace or Active Directory.
  • Be familiar with the use of MacOS and Windows.
  • Profound expertise in the field of security and data protection
  • Motivated and committed to your work
  • Quick learner and creative approach to solution finding
  • Proficient English language skills and fluent in German

1. Getting to know you

The first interview with one of our recruiters helps both of us to see if our ideas and values match.

2. Technical interview

You'll get to know a part of our team and get a chance to score with technical knowledge. In addition, you can ask anything you want to know.

3. Tryout task & debriefing

You'll receive a task that would fit your new role. You'll be asked to prepare the task either at home or live with some of our team members. Afterwards, there will be a debriefing with team members from your future department.

4. Leadership interview

60 minutes

Last, you'll get to know some team members of our leadership community. If this is a fit, too, you'll receive an offer from us.

We might adjust the process for some positions. This means you might get to know some more team members or get a more detailed chance to see your new role in action.

Our offices

Remote. Distributed. Together.

Work from home or any of our offices. Our team is 100% remote and will stay this way. You need a stable internet connection and your laptop. Currently our way of work supports the central European timezone +/-2h.

Treppendorf

Our Thomann headquarters. Just a few minutes’ drive outside of Bamberg. Come by to visit our shop or meet with colleagues outside of tech & data.

Berlin

Our thomann.io office in the heart of Berlin. Easily reachable at Rosenthaler Platz. Perfect for workshops and team building.

Erlangen

Our thomann.io office in Nuremberg's metropolitan area. Just a few minutes by foot from Erlangen station. Nice, quiet location to do some deep work.
